A stopped bus with flashers on means STOP

To the man in the pearl white extended length Escalade who had to swing out and speed past two cars to make the right turn on riverpoint and coton hall street in front of a stopped bus with its flashers on:

There are children loading on the bus....what is so important for you to break the law and make that turn????

Please observe the bus stop sign and accept that you may need to wait for 3 more minutes!!!!!

Just to ADD to this post... there are apparently Loudoun Sheriff's vehicles out in Lansdowne at Stop Signs. A friend of AGDIL just got stopped the other day for "rolling through" a stop sign, he was told he was the MOST aggregious offender of half-dozen cars.

So, apparently STOP actually means STOP also.

Yes! That was incredible! He was so busy mouthing "I'm late!" and flipping us off that he didn't look to see if there were any children running to the bus. Thank goodness there weren't --- could've been a horrible situation. Scary. Would love to see that guy again...

I think not much good has come from Riverside Parkway connecting Lansdowne to other routes. Let's face facts, Lansdowne has become a pass through for people who hate Route 7. Of course they aren't going to care what havoc they create while they're speeding through our lovely community. People don't even wait for lights knowing they can adjust their route, speed through an intersection, speed down a residential street and then spew out further down the road on their way to points West.

The only way to really stop this nonsense is to improve Rt. 7. People will use Riverside as an alternate as long as Rt. 7 is a disaster. How is this done you ask? Quite simply by supporting the construction of overpasses and eliminating stop lights. Supporting Lori Watres is a good step since she is the one who keeps getting them built. Onheiser has been super critical from day one, claiming our school problems are Lori's fault. I think Lori has shown wisdom in her pusuit of overpass construction, and Onheiser is demonstrated great apptitude in shafting Lansdowne and Lori Waters for his own gain.
