Any Utility Easement Experts out there?

I think we need to get a group of people together who know the ropes on the openband issues. Who knows about easements? I know well that they can't be exclusive on vdot streets. So, let's get a group together and help these ladies out. Strength in numbers.

Yes, we need experts to help fight the battle. Do we have anyone in the community that can assist in this matter? Technically knowledge people who can investigate and recommend about the easements?

I have yet to find anyone (including the county) who can or is willing to explain to me what an easement is and how can there be private and public easements. Additionally, last week I asked the county (and the attorney hired by the county) how can it be that Verizon is providing services to the Firehouse and the schools but unable to provide services to us. I am told that it is because of private easements. So I follow with the question of how can Verizon make an offer to provide services to Leisure World if there are private easements in place. The attorney says he doesn’t know and the county doesn’t answer how Verizon is able to provide services within selective locations Lansdowne but not Lansdowne on the Potomac. Isn’t it interesting that Verizon can drill through Lansdowne on the Potomac area/ground to reach the schools without going through the alleged private easements? So, who does know?
